On the spur of the moment Tuesday morning Tamara asked me to visit her that afternoon. We had been trying to arrange an overnight visit, so this was it. I threw together some overnight stuff and took off to Peter Lougheed Provincial Park staff housing. Tamara deposited me on their deck where I was able to drink a big mug of tea and gaze at the Kananaskis River and be nostalgic about the alpine meadows this water had just come from. It made me really miss all those high meadows. Sigh….. We had a nice walk in the sunshine gazing at the Opal Range. We sure had a lot to talk about. Tamara had worked for me at the Barrier Lake Visitor Centre prior to my retirement.
