It has come to my attention that the TV show creators find they have to go back to the 1950s to find family shows to air over Christmas. Tonight I saw I Love Lucy and the Dick Van Dyke show and I notice that It’s a Wonderful Life is playing on several channels. About a week ago I saw The Sound of Music twice. Those latter two shows are always played during the Christmas season. It’s a wonderful Life is in black and white!
Why do the networks have to go back 50 years or more to find good, clean shows suitable for families and seniors who remember the good old days? Maybe we should all go back to the good old days. Obviously the current creators of TV shows are missing something. I wonder if they will ever catch on.
Merry Christmas………. from the good old days.
